Hissy Fit Vintage was created in 2026 by Meghan McTavish. She was raised in Mount Pleasant, graduated from Mount Pleasant Area High School.  She is a recent graduate of The University of Pittsburgh with co majors in international studies and political science with a minor in law, criminal justice, and society.   Growing up her Grandma ignited a passion of vintage and antique clothing and taught Meghan everything she knows about resale.  She has worked in retail for 3 years and decided it was her time to follow her dreams of opening her own store like her Grandma did years before!  Meghan still wants to pursue a law degree and become an investigative journalist; however, she is putting academia on hold to bring her dreams to fruition.

Currently Meghan is the Fashion Media Director at Deja Magazine in Pittsburgh. With Deja she sources clothes for photoshoots, does almost all the styling for the magazine, and writes articles.  Meghan hopes to bring this slice of Pittsburgh to Mount Pleasant to foster a community of eccentricity and authenticity.
